New Rotor Builds & Fleet Remanufacturing
Sotek supports both new OEM rotor production and large-scale remanufacturing programs. For new builds, all components are manufactured in the U.S.A., providing consistent quality, traceability, and supply chain reliability.
For fleet overhauls, including locomotive and rapid transit applications, we perform all critical repair and rebuild processes in-house. This minimizes downtime while ensuring remanufactured rotors meet or exceed original OEM specifications.
Rotor Rebar & Electrical Repair
Our technicians perform precision rotor rebar services, replacing worn or damaged rotor bars and end rings to restore electrical performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Shaft Replacement & Insertion
Shaft damage does not require full rotor replacement. Sotek provides shaft removal and replacement services, pressing and machining new shafts to exact tolerance requirements.
Lamination Refurbishment & Replacement
We evaluate existing rotor cores for refurbishment through lamination sanding and recoating, or laser-cut new laminations when the original steel has reached end of life.
